6/25-6/29/2018 Workout/Diet

Sometimes when traveling it can be hard to stick to a good plan. I had good intentions of eating well and working out on a regular basis while in Montreal. It didn’t exactly workout, while my meals were not outrageously off balance (exceptions of dessert every once in a while). Then came the wine, while most in the primal community including myself believe that wine in moderation is ok; I will admit at times it was more than moderation.  Overall it was not terrible but not good. Not all of my travels include a lot of dinners out, but when traveling with a VP they usually do. In a few weeks I will be in Tempe and should be able to keep to my workout and diet schedule.

Lets talk about workouts this week, again not great at all.  I managed one “hotel room” workout, which I will describe below, otherwise the highlight was I was able to get back in time on Friday to join Lorie at Crossfit Georgetown for a great workout coming back, but I really felt the entire week in that workout.

Hotel Room Workout:

4 Rounds For Time

  1. 60 Jumping Jacks
  2. 50 Single Count Mountain Climbers
  3. 40 Squats
  4. 30 Push-ups
  5. 20 Burpees
  6. 10 Jumping Lunges

My time was right at 30 minutes

Strength Work was Squat Cleans and Jerks 6×1 every 90 Seconds working to Heavy Single

WOD – Elvis – 30 Squat Cleans for Time RX was 185, I did 135 – Time 6:18
